Job Description

- You will need to enjoy working with customers and be able to demonstrate a positive can do attitude and at times tolerance, sympathy and understanding.
- A minimum of 1 years experience driving vehicles 7500kgs and above.
- A rescue & recovery / mechanical background is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
- A current digital tachograph card is essential and preference will be given to those with the required 35hrs of CPC training
The role
- The role involves attending vehicles after breakdown or accident and is primarily carried out within a 100km radius working area although recoveries further afield may be required to any UK destination.
- You will be driving state of the art specialist rescue and recovery vehicles.
- Our comprehensive induction training will cover all aspects of the role and will provide you with an Industry recognised basic level qualification.
- We attend breakdowns in all weathers so you need to be prepared to work outside and sometimes in difficult conditions to recover or rescue our customers.
- Working an average of 42hrs per week over a 2 week Rota system.
Week 1: Mon/Wed/Sat/Sun 18:00-06:00
Week 2: Tue/Thu/Fri 18:00-06:00
Wages
£12.50 per hour Class 2
£13.50 per hour Class 1
42 hours per week
License/Certification:
- Driver CPC (required)
- Class 1 License (preferred)
