CF Motoring Services Ltd is looking for a reliable, professional Class 1 or Class 2 Recovery Driver to join our team at our Stockton Bodyshop.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the North East’s leading independent roadside rescue, recovery and accident repair specialists. Previous recovery experience is advantageous, but full recovery training will be provided for the right candidate.
🚚 The Role
As a Bodyshop Recovery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of repaired and accident-damaged vehicles.
Your duties will include:
- Collecting and delivering repaired and accident-damaged vehicles to and from our Newcastle Bodyshop across Northumberland
- Operating specialist recovery vehicles equipped with ramps
- Safely loading and unloading vehicles
- Deploying recovery ramps and equipment as required
- Providing excellent customer service to customers and other road users
- Working independently and managing your own workload when required
- Ensuring vehicles are transported safely and professionally
- Working outdoors and in a range of weather conditions
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
💷 Pay & Hours
£13.50 per hour
Monday – Friday
08:00 – 17:00
42.5 paid hours per week
Full-time, permanent position
Overtime flexibility may be required during periods of peak trade.

Stockton Bodyshop
Work will be primarily based from our Stockton Bodyshop, with vehicle collection and delivery work carried out across the region.
👤 About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and highly motivated
- Professional and customer-focused
- Comfortable working independently
- Safety-conscious and responsible
- Physically fit and able to operate recovery equipment
- Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with customers
- Flexible when additional overtime is required
Previous breakdown or recovery experience is an advantage, but is not essential — comprehensive training will be provided.
✅ Essential Requirements
- Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience
- HGV driving experience
- Physically fit to operate vehicle recovery equipment and ramps
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliable and professional approach
